Ever wondered how a celebrity chef lives? Well, guess no more. The Wall Street Journal has an amazing feature about chef extraordinaire Tom Colicchio.
I love The New Yorker. It’s as simple as that. But when the Food Issue comes around, I get giddy like a 10-year-old schoolgirl … butterfly in my stomach and the whole nine yards. Yes, I am a little late to the party…considering the latest food-related issue come out last November. Nevertheless, good writing never gets old.

I have left the running to those who can actually do it. It’s winter and I am less than inclined to layer up and jog. But I am not hibernating yet, j am doing yoga. I have chanted and held poses in the past, but this time I am following a short course on how to make a successful home practice. It’s exciting when I remember to actually do the assignments. Crap. The thing about yoga is that it takes away all the unfounded insecurities that follow me during the day.
This week, I turned 30. There are so many good things about getting older.
So, here is a list.
1-It’s ok to get gray hair and not cover it up. Big points for this one.
2-PJ right after work is a must. A must, I say.
3-More life experience, whatever that means to you. You have lived for three decades for crying out loud!
4-Any workout feels like a marathon…even if you ran 2 miles. But once you are done, it’s bliss.
5-I am happy!
